Alexander Newman
Alexander Philip Newman currently lives in Cambridge and attends a UK School. Since an early age Alexander had adored writing, politics and journalism. In a time of much uncertainty Alexander decided to start this blog, ‘Teenagers on Lockdown.’ Aside from writing Alexander also enjoys Acting, Saxophone and Art and is extremely passionate about the work he does with UK based charity BulliesOut to help combat bullying around the UK.
He sincerely hopes that you enjoy reading this blog and it is successful in bringing a small bit of light to these dark and strange times.

Vincent Song
Vincent Song can't imagine himself dressed up so formally as Alex Newman, debating with such gusto as Dylan, and frankly he has no photos like that of Anjali. So he decided to find something else to speak for himself.
For a second, imagine what you get when applying the style of Monet's water lilies to the photo of a perching bird. Well? Please take a look at this profile pic.
The technique behind is what's called Neural Style Transfer in Deep Learning, a field that's bringing new light to so many areas of life: even the combat against coronavirus. Beyond his interests in this field, he’s mainly passionate about physics, philosophy, and poetry. Yep, they all start with a 'p', and coincidentally, so does 'pandemic'. Oops
He lives in Hong Kong and studies overseas at a school in the UK.

Lara Caylee Gledhill
Hi! My name is Lara. I’m 13 and I attend an international school in Vienna, Austria. I am exceptionally short, super passionate about writing, and very happy to be on the team! Definitely a sucker for science and, if I stop myself from screaming, I’m fairly good at debate but the mental well being of humans, how our brains create cognition and functions, and how the pandemic has changed. All of that is fascinating and interests me the most.
Memorizing every song in Hamilton, failing to make edible food and crying over dead characters has become my new lifestyle, but despite these ten weeks being some of the most painfully boring moments of my life, I do have a lot of advice and stories to share, which I would love to do here
